Pakistan lose 7-0 against Australia ending medal hopes |

07/08/12 LONDON: Pakistan was dominated from start to finish by Australia during their match at the London Olympics hockey tournament losing 7-0. With this loss the green shirts have been eliminated from medal contention.
During the first half Australia scored twice of penalty corners and once from a penalty stroke. Christopher Ciriello also scored a field goal.
Pakistan failed to make adjustments in the second half and continued to be dominated by Australia.
The Kangaroos scored once of a penalty corner and twice from field goals in the second half. With this win Australia has qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament. |
