Some Things You Need to Know About Pakistani Culture – In the previous article I discussed the history, the system of government and its economy, now I will discuss some of the cultural things that exist in Pakistan.

If a country whose culture is very contrasted with its international image, then Pakistani citizens around the world will face a dilemma in explaining their culture if foreigners ask.

Because beyond democratic and economic disappointment, residing in the world of Pakistani civil society who work diligently against all odds to safeguard the most important things.

And for those of you who don’t know about the culture in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, below I will tell you a few things about Pakistani culture:

The first thing is that Pakistani culture is very diverse, why do I say diverse because of its historical, geographical and ethnic diversity so Pakistani culture is a fusion of Indian, Persian, Afghan, Central Asian, South Asian and Western Asian influences.

There are more than 15 main ethnic groups in Pakistan, which differ in physical, historical bloodlines, customs, clothing, food and music.

Some of these include Punjabi, Sindhis, Baloch, Pashtun, Kashmir, Hazaras, Macranis and Baltis, originating from areas close to homes such as the Indus Valley Civilization or as far away as Africa or Tibet.

The second thing about Pakistani culture is the number of different languages in Pakistan, and the number of official languages spoken by Pakistan around 73 and 76 languages.

So in some regions or a few hours there are several different languages in the country, and some Pakistani languages are included in the group of independent languages and urdu is the national language.

Another thing is that Pakistan likes to listen to and make music, most Pakistani musicians compose songs from different poems such as Qawwali and Ghazal is the nation’s hearing treasure.

The family ties are very strong in Pakistan

Pakistani society is not led by individualism but rather by collectivism, where the family comes because of religious, cultural, economic and social values, and makes each other stronger in supporting one another.

Another thing about Pakistani culture is about expertise because this country is very good in terms of expertise, such as painting and wood carving skills, its copper works are also very good.

Pottery, especially blue pottery, typical of Sindh and Multan, is loved throughout the world for its appearance.

Naqashi, or the manufacture of camel skin lamp art, is another example of a long local craft with colorful tile work, which is a Mughal heritage.
