  NEPRA ups power tariff by 24 paisas per unit

26/07/12  The tariff has been revised due to surge in furnace oil, gas development surcharge.

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Thuresday raised the power tariff by 24 paisas per unit on account of fuel adjustment for the month of June 2012.

Earlier, Central Power Purchase Agency (CPPA) had proposed an increase of 26 paisas per unit in power tariff.
