04/07/12  Malik Riaz has tendered an unconditional apology in Supreme Court in contempt case.

In a reply submitted in Supreme Court, Business tycoon Malik Riaz maintained that he had no intentions to target Chief Justice in his press conference, adding that the conference was held to unveil the corruption of Arsalan Iftikhar.

He stated that he offers his unconditional apology if the press conference created hurdles in the provision of justice.

In his reply, Malik Riaz said that he felt from remarks of chief justice as if a murder case was going to be filed against him after which he had no other option other than to hold a press conference.

He said that meetings with chief justice were held with his consent.

Malik Riaz separately submitted an application to summon Arsalan Iftikhar.
