  President Zardari recommends rail link with China

08/06/12  President Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan wanted to have a link with China by railway.

While giving an interview to a Chinese radio in Beijing, he has a dream that Pakistan and China should be interlinked by railway track, adding the future of South Asia is related to Shanghai Cooperation Organization as it may play vital role for progress and prosperity of the region.

He said that he also held meetings with heads of other countries and discussed regional and international issues particularly war on terror.

He said that his visit to China remained very successful. Pakistan and China would like to extend economic cooperation with the passage of time.
