04/05/12  Police continue its operation against the assailants in Lyari on the eighth consecutive day.

According to the details, more than 20 people have lost their lives during the Lyari operation.

Meanwhile, firing between the assailants and police continued in Cheel chowk and Gabol Park today. Police and FC personnel have reached their respective fronts.

The police have claimed to end operation in Lyari today. Rangers are likely to join police in their operation today.
