  PM greets Yemeni counterpart on national day

22/05/11  ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has greeted his Yemeni counterpart on their national day falling on Sunday (May 22).

In his message of greetings the Prime Minister said, "On behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan, I extend to Your Excellency, the Government and the brotherly people of the Republic of Yemen our warmest felicitations on the happy occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Yemen."

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Republic of Yemen enjoyed close and warm friendly relations and expressed the confidence that these relations would be strengthened in future for the mutual benefit of peoples.
