  Pakistan to attend 11th congress on medical oncology in Iran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan would attend the 11th congress on medical oncology and hematology held in Iran on April 25.

Secretary of congress, Dr. Ardeshir Qavamzadeh said Iranian Society of Pediatric Hamatology and Oncology is organizing this event, Mehar news agency reported.

Specialists from the United States, Canada, France, Syria, Pakistan, and other countries will participate in the three-day congress.

He said about 75 percent of malignant and blood cancers as well as genetic and metabolic disease are being treated through cellular grafting in Iran.

"Seventy five percent of malignant and benign blood cancers and genetic and metabolic disease are curable through cellular grafting," Dr. Ardeshir Qavamzadeh added. (APP)
