Differences with MQM no more: Malik ABU DHABI, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that differences with Muttahida Quami Movement have ended, a private TV channel reported on Friday.

Talking to journalists after dialogue between Pakistan People Party (PPP) and MQM here, Rehman Malik said that differences between two parties have ended, adding that a few differences that still exist will also be removed through dialogue.

The Minister further said that differences are spirit of the democracy and they wanted to run democratic system.

Regarding local Bodies System, Rehman Malik said that the powers and administrative issues of local bodies also came under discussion.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghori has said that there is no deadlock on local bodies system, adding that issue of local body government did not came under discussion in the dialogues.

Babar Ghori said that they discussed economy and energy crisis. Economic conditions are not good, he said and added that people of the country faces sugar, load shedding and unemployment problems, which would be solved together.

He further said that MQM has no difference with Sindh government and minute problems would be resolved through dialogue.

In the dialogue they also agreed on enhancing consultation among them so as to bring the country out of prevailing crisis, he added.

He said that to oppose NRO did not mean opposition of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
