06/07/12  Veena Malik fetched in to role of Silk Smitha in Kannada version of The Dirty Picture.

Pakistani starlet Veena Malik, who is making bigger ripples in India through her Bollywood dreams, is all geared up to ignite the entire Indian entertainment industries as she has been fetched in to the role of Silk Smitha in the Kannada version of The Dirty Picture.

Veena is supremely excited and her feet are in the air with excitement because she has eventually penetrated in Bollywood (with her debut vehicle ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaal Hai) and other entertainment industries of India (through the Kannada version of The Dirty Picture).

Her Bollywood debut film ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’ very badly bombed at the box office even majority of the theaters did not screen the movie and where it was screened, the audience was absent.

But this does not affect the sexy babe as she is of the view that she got her debut in Bollywood not matter if the film bombed.

Even on a question of why she worked in a low budget movie? The actress said she was paid high thus the film was not low budget (well answered).

For the shooting of the film ‘The Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga’, Veena arrived at Majestic, Bengaluru where the traffic got jammed seeing the controversies queen there.

The makers of the movie knew that the controversies babe could cause to a big chaos of traffic jam in the city, they made this news of her arrival under wraps till the last minute but when she emerged there, the people literally got mad seeing her.

This led to a big chaos in the city.

Veena came there along with the other cast members of the movie – Akshay and Anitha Bhat.

The movie ‘The Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga’ is based around the real life story of the yesteryears sexy south siren Silk Smitha. It is the remake of Vidya Balan starrer blockbuster The Dirty Picture.
