After the arrival of new crop in the market, price has gone up by Rs 100 per 40kg.

As per details, the picking of cotton in various districts of the Punjab and Sindh has been started. Price of phutti has reached Rs 3,000 per maund. While the price of cotton recorded at Rs 6,300 per 40kg with an increase of Rs 100.

Five ginners factories of the Punjab and two of Sindh have started work with the arrival of new crop in the market.
