On his Instagram post, Gayle has bid farewell to BBL15, might be forever. In the post, Gayle thanked Australia for the support that he had got during the league.

Gayle believed that the memories of playing in Australia will live forever and said “People think I may have played my last innings in Australia but my memory with the fans will live on forever!

‘I build leagues around the world and Big Bash is one of them’, he added.

While throwing light to the incident with female sports reporter, Gayle slammed former cricketers and media.

“To the MEDIA, Thank you all so! The Haters, I Thank you even more … I think a lot of past and present cricketers who smile in front of my face could ve have their say In the public when my so call issue was going on, but y all don t have the ***** to stand firm when it matters – but yet when you see me you re like, Chris that s BS against you, it was blown out of proportion smh [shaking my head]…don t tell me, tell the media and public!”, said Gayle.

Gayle was criticized badly by various former players when he ‘flirt’ with the female sports reporter. Former English all-rounder Andrew Flintoff tweeted, ‘Big fan of Chris Gayle but made he himself look a bit of a chop there’.
